<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric speaker which is capable of enhancing sound pressure and reduces manufacturing costs by simplifying configuration. <P>SOLUTION: In a piezoelectric speaker 1 which generates acoustic sound by vibrating a diaphragm 2 by means of a piezoelectric element 6, there are included: an elastic plate 7 to which the piezoelectric element 6 is mounted and which is bent and deformed by the deformation of the piezoelectric element 6 with application of a signal voltage; holding members 3, 8 holding the elastic plate 7 in a part of their outer edges; the diaphragm 2 which is mounted onto the holding members 3, 8, is vibrated by bending and deforming the elastic plate 7 and generates acoustic sound; and an annular vibration transmitting member 9 which is provided between the elastic plate 7 and the diaphragm 2, of which one side is in contact with the elastic plate 7 and another side is in contact with the diaphragm 2, and which is bent and deformed by bending and deformation of the elastic plate 7 so as to deform the diaphragm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
