<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a liquid crystal display device which has less color deviation and copes with a wide color gamut. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device with a back light includes light emitting diodes (LED RED1, LED GREEN 2, and led BLUE3) of three colors of red, green and blue, color sensors 5 corresponding to respective light emitting diodes, and a temperature sensor 4 for measuring temperatures of the light emitting diodes. The liquid crystal display device is provided with a control operation part 12 which corrects chromaticity changes caused by temperatures of the light emitting diodes and those caused when controlling brightness of red, green and blue of the light emitting diodes, whereby chromaticity changes of the light emitting diodes in an environment for use are reduced to keep arbitrary luminance and chromaticity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
