<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuously variable transmission having a stopping structure of a plunger, capable of reducing the size of the bending moment, by controlling an action place of reaction (a load) acting on the plunger from a stopping member. <P>SOLUTION: A peripheral groove 36 is formed on an outer peripheral surface near the other end part for arranging the plunger 35 of a secondary shaft 23, and a cotter 37 is fitted in this peripheral groove 36. This cotter 37 restricts the movement of the plunger 35 to the other end part side of the secondary shaft 23 by abutting on the plunger 35. A tip-flat projection part 38 is formed in a surface part 35b abutting on the cotter 37 on the inner diameter 35a side of the plunger 35. This projection part 38 controls a contact place between the plunger 35 and the cotter 37 substantially constant, even if the cotter 37 inclines (rocks) in the peripheral groove 36 by a load from the plunger 35 for receiving hydraulic pressure of a hydraulic fluid supplied to a secondary hydraulic chamber 33 via oil holes 43 and 44. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
