PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hook lock which is formed by installing a hook piece in a front end of a dead bolt, wherein the hook lock prevents formation of puddle of moisture and freezing of the same in a recess in which the hook piece is stored. SOLUTION: The hook lock 10 is obtained by forming the recess 5 for storing the hook piece 4 therein, in the dead bolt 2. According to the structure of the hook lock 10, a bottom surface of the recess 5 has a drainage gradient inclining downward from an area under a shaft member 23 toward the front end of the dead bolt 2, and a draining hole 54 vertically penetrating through the bottom of the dead bolt 2 is formed on a downstream side of the drainage gradient.
