<p>The view, wind and or sun safety device has a lateral protection for balconies or terraces and a cartridge for an awning, a shutter or a roller blinds which can be mounted in their longitudinal direction over a vertical carrying surface. The cartridge (10) is height adjustable along a guide rail (14) mounted in vertical adjustment at the carrying surface (4). The cartridge is lockable in different heights along the guide rail.</p>
