<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide antioxidant drinking water obtained by imparting a stable antioxidative function to ionized alkaline water to be usable for cooking as highly antioxidative ionized alkaline water. <P>SOLUTION: The antioxidant drinking water is obtained by adding ascorbic acid-2-glucoside stable even in alkaline solution, or preferably both of the ascorbic acid-2-glucoside and water-soluble tocopherol to ionized alkaline water.
