PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative body pasting grain method, by which the decorative body can be easily grained and, at the same time, can be surely pasted to a formed body even when the inside portion beyond the peripheral edge part of the decorative body is fitted, and its device. SOLUTION: This pasting grain method has a process for coating adhesive on at least either the decorative body or the formed body, on which a fitting groove is formed inside beyond the peripheral edge part of the decorative body, a process for retaining the decorative body on a lower form, through which a grain blade passes and, at the same time, which is made vertically movable, a fitting process for stuffing part of the decorative body in the grain groove of the formed body with the fitting blade by lowering an upper form and a process for pasting the decorative body to the formed body by pressing the decorative body against the formed body by raising the lower form after the finish of the grain.
