PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a model structure design supporting device and a method for more automating the design of a model structure by enabling the well-balanced adoption of a plurality of parameters. SOLUTION: The value of one parameter is distributed to the value of the other parameter (S4), and whether or not a model structure is established is decided (S5), and when the model structure is established, evaluation scores applied to the values of the respective parameters are totaled, and when the total value is a predetermined value or larger, the value of each selected parameter is used as a suitable parameter value.
