PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock-absorber for a caster having not only the shock-absorbing performance but also the durability, and capable of demonstrating the desired shock-absorbing performance over the long time. SOLUTION: The shock-absorber 100 for the caster to mitigate the shock transmitted from the caster to a body uses a compound elastic member 110 consisting of a coil spring 111, and a bar-shaped rubber 112 inserted in the coil spring 111. The shock-absorber 100 for the caster preferably comprises a caster side case (a caster connection part) 121 to connect the shock-absorber 100 for the caster to the caster side, and a body side case (a body side connection part) 122 to connect the shock-absorber 100 for the caster to the body side.
