PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic endoscopic apparatus capable of securely preventing interference of devices and improving the operability. SOLUTION: An electronic endoscope 10 and a processor 11 of the electronic endoscopic apparatus 2 respectively comprise a transmission frequency band switching circuit and a receiving frequency band switching circuit for switching the transmission frequency band and the receiving frequency band of electric waves 12 to which a plurality of channels are assigned in advance, and first and second vacant channel detection circuits for detecting usable vacant channels. The transmission frequency band and the receiving frequency band are automatically switched by the transmission frequency band switching circuit and the receiving frequency band switching circuit according to the result of detection by the first and second vacant channel detection circuits.
