PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fiber cord for rubber reinforcement, which develops adhesivity between cord and rubber in belt formation without using an organic solvent-based adhesive and has both excellent adhesiveness to rubber and adhesiveness to rubber after steam exposure and excellent adhesiveness between rubber and cord in application to a belt use. SOLUTION: The fiber cord for rubber reinforcement has at least two or more adhesive layers on the surface of a fiber in which the first layer of the adhesive is composed of an RFL containing no tackifier, the second layer of the adhesive is composed of an RFL containing a tackifier, the ratio R/F of the second layer of the adhesive is 1/0.25-1/1 and RF/L is 1/3-1/10.
