PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide control for automatically releasing a parking brake which enables smooth movement on a hill. SOLUTION: A parking brake control device automatically releases the actuation of the parking brake with predetermined operation. Then at the time when a vehicle is at rest on a hill and the parking brake is in a state of actuation, the actuation of the parking brake is automatically released by the parking brake control device when a change of a brake operation element of a service brake into the direction for the instruction for increasing a braking force caused by the operation of a driver is detected in a state that the instruction in the direction of travel of the vehicle by a shift range is in agreement with the downhill direction of the hill.
