Seabed seismic sensors and method of use of seabed seismic sensors

Apparatus and methods for acquiring seismic data using a seabed seismic data cable positioned on a seabed are described, including correcting for the effect of sensor motion, which improves accuracy of seismic data. One or multiple movements of the sensor may be corrected for. Sensors can be rotational or linear motion sensors, such as rotational or linear accelerometers or both.
