A car audio with a noise curve adjustment function and a method therefor are provided to allow a user to adjust a compass-classified noise curve and a stereo noise curve preset in a multiplexer by connecting a noise curve setup unit of the multiplexer with a control unit. A control unit(240) sets and stores a noise curve for determining output sound gain attenuation generated according to received electric field intensity according to a command of a user. A multiplexer(130) applies a received radio broadcasting signal to the set noise curve, adjusts an output sound gain, and outputs the adjusted output sound to a speaker(150). The noise curve is a noise curve according to a pitch extent or a stereo noise curve.
