FIELD: glass industry; methods of production of the optic fiber billets. ^ SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of glass industry, in particular, to the method of molding of the optic fiber billets. The technical result of the invention is the increase of the speed of deposition of the layers on the targets. The invention provides for usage only the plasma torch with the coil for feeding the plasma of the first diameter for deposition of the smut on the set of the rotating parallel targets. The diameters of all the targets due to deposition are growing simultaneously as a result of which the set of the billets for production of the optic fibers. In the case of usage of several plasma torches first they deposit the glass on the set of the targets, using the first plasma torch. Then use the set of the second torches, each of which has the coil for feeding plasma with the second diameter, which is less than first diameter. ^ EFFECT: the invention ensures the increased speed of deposition of the layers on the targets. ^ 5 cl, 15 dwg, 2 tbl |
