The present invention is directed to a novel drug for treating glaucoma. In particular, it relates to a therapeutic agent for glaucoma and an ocular hypotensive agent, which comprise an aminoalkoxybibenzyl represented by the formula (I) wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom, a C1-C5 alkoxy group, etc.; R2 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, etc.; R3 represents a hydrogen atom, a hydroxyl group, -O-CO-(CH2)I-COOH (wherein I is an integer of 1 to 3), etc.; and R4 represents -NR5R6 (wherein R5 and R6 independently represent a hydrogen atom or a C1-C8 alkyl group), or a group of the formula wherein A represents a C3-C5 alkylene group which may be substituted with a carboxyl group; and m is an integer of 0 to 5, or a salt thereof as an active ingredient. |
