A POLARIZER, THE BACKLIGHT UNIT AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF POLARIZER SHEET EMPLOYED IN THE SAME

A polarizing plate, a backlight device, and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to enable the polarizing plate to serve as a DBEF(Dual Brightness Enhancement Film) layer by using UV resin and metal materials. A reflection-type polarizing plate is used for a backlight device and includes a substrate(400), a UV resin layer(410), and plural lines(424). The UV resin layer is formed on one surface of the substrate. The lines are formed of metal material and formed on one surface of the UV(UltraViolet) resin layer at predetermined intervals. The distance between the lines is 200 to 350nm, and the metal material is aluminum.
