A kimchi refrigerator controlled by using an electronic expansion valve is provided to regulate flow of refrigerant actively according to temperature change of a refrigerant pipe with the electronic expansion valve and a solenoid valve between a condenser and an evaporator. A kimchi refrigerator includes a compressor(100) compressing refrigerant, a condenser(200) condensing refrigerant, a decompression unit(300) decompressing refrigerant, an evaporator(400) formed outside a storage chamber to absorb external heat by vaporizing refrigerant, and a refrigerant pipe circulating refrigerant by connecting the compressor, the condenser, the decompression unit and the evaporator in series. An electronic expansion valve(500) and a solenoid valve(600) are sequentially formed between the condenser and a capillary tube to regulate refrigerant. The solenoid valve is formed between the electronic expansion valve and the decompression unit, and the electronic expansion valve is controlled by a main control panel(700) according to temperature measured by a temperature sensor(800) in the refrigerant pipe flowing refrigerant from the evaporator to the compressor.
