An opening/closing device for an electronic instrument is provided to individually perform opening/closing operations of a folder and a slider, and to exclude mutual interference between the folder and the slider during the opening/closing actions, thereby preventing the instrument from being incorrectly operated. The first and second covers(100,200) are mutually contacted and combined. The third and fourth covers(300,400) are positioned on the top of the second cover(200), and are combined together. A supporting unit(500) is disposed on the first, second, and third covers(100,200,300), and supports the first and second covers(100,200) so that the supported covers(100,200) can be slid and folded, based on the second cover(200). A restricting unit prevents sliding and folding actions from being interlocked together, when the third and fourth covers(300,400) are slid an folded by the supporting unit(500).
