摘要 <p>#CMT# #/CMT# The engine has window provided on a crankcase (2) of a compensation shaft unit and surrounded by a flange (16) that forms a separating surface. A housing (20) of the shaft unit is fixed to the surface using screws. A compensation shaft has a toothed wheel that protrudes through the window inside the crankcase. The shaft is driven by another toothed wheel (10), which is arranged on the crankshaft. The housing has another separating surface, which is displaced in order to adjust the amount of engagement clearance on the former separating surface of the crankcase before the screws are tightened. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Piston engine e.g. four-cylinder internal combustion engine. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The housing of the of the shaft unit has the separating surface, which is displaced in order to adjust the amount of engagement clearance on the separating surface of the crankcase before the screws are tightened, thus allowing precise setting of the gear engagement with simple installation for the compensation shaft integrated in the housing. The shaft is driven by the toothed wheel that is arranged on the crankshaft, thus allowing the engine to be attached from the outside with a few hand movements and allowing simple and easy setting of the tooth clearance from outside.
