New piperidinyl-alkylamino-pyridazinone derivatives, a process for the preparation thereof and pharmaceutical compositions containing said compounds

Described are piperidinyl-alkylamino-pyridazinone derivatives of the general Formula (I) (wherein R is hydrogen or C1-4alkyl; one of X and Y stands for hydrogen and the other represents a group of the general Formula (II) Hal stands for halogen; and n is 1 or 2) and pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof. Also described is a process for the preparation of these piperidinyl-alkylamino-pyridazinone derivatives and pharmaceutical compositions comprising these compounds. The compounds of the general Formula I exhibit an anxiolytic effect and can be used in the treatment of anxiety disorders.
