<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner capable of making wetting property of a counter electrode uniform and reducing an amount of a treating liquid used. <P>SOLUTION: The air cleaner is provided with a discharge electrode arranged on a circulation route of air; and the counter electrode for capturing a component to be treated contained in air. Further, the air cleaner is provided with a treating liquid feeding means for feeding the treating liquid for absorbing the component to be treated to the counter electrode; and a treating liquid uniformizing means to make the treating liquid not to deviate by moving the counter electrode.
