<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar radiation sensor and a vehicular instrument system capable of accurately detecting incidence of extraneous light into an instrument. <P>SOLUTION: This solar radiation sensor used for controlling the onboard instrument is provided with an extraneous light incidence device 44 arranged on a position different from the onboard instrument, meeting the incidence condition of the extraneous light entering into the onboard instrument, and introducing the extraneous light meeting the incidence condition to the inside; and an optical sensor 42 arranged inside the extraneous light incidence device 44, detecting the extraneous light meeting the incidence condition and generating an illuminance signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
