PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for ordering and order-receiving, enabling a shop staff to securely confirm an order during working another job at a kitchen, and to reply to a customer securely and promptly that the order has been accepted, and enabling efficient ordering and order-receiving by a small number of staffs, causing neither misunderstanding nor a trouble with the customer. SOLUTION: The customer orders to the kitchen using an ordering terminal unit by a wired or wireless means. Orders can be made only any one of the seats and cannot be made simultaneously from two customer seats or more. The order is transmitted to the kitchen by the wired or wireless means, which is then notified by an audible and/or visible notification means provided in the kitchen and also received by a portable wireless unit held by a worker in the kitchen. The worker having the portable wireless unit receives the order through conversation with the customer having ordered. On completion of receiving the order, a reply that the order has been understood and accepted is notified to an audible and/or visible reply notification unit provided on the customer seat side.
