PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embroidery frame maintaining its specified posture in an sewing operation and enabling efficient sewing operation even in such a case that a fabric is turned over during the sewing operation. SOLUTION: The embroidery frame comprises an inner frame 1 having a circular frame part 11, an outer frame 2 fitted on the outer circumference of the frame part 11, a means 3 for adjusting the inner diameter of the outer frame 2, a supporting body 4 situated out of the radial direction of the frame part 11 and supporting the inner frame 1 around an axis H nearly parallel to the radial directions X1 and X2 of the frame part 11, and a locking mechanism enabling locking the inner frame 1 through restricting the turning thereof relative to the supporting body 4.
