PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift mechanism capable of regulating movements in a shifting direction or a selected direction in a simple structure. SOLUTION: The shift mechanism includes a case 10, a shift select lever shaft 60 housed in the case 10, one groove 161 as a first connecting section which is arranged on the shift select lever shaft 60 and regulates either of the shift direction or the selected direction, and a pin 11 which is connected with one groove 161 and mounted on the case 10.
