<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a back stretching implement from being an obstacle when stretching is not performed, and to effectively use the implement. <P>SOLUTION: The back stretching implement used also as a chair comprises: a first stretcher 10 being a back stretching implement which is formed of a columnar body having a substantially flat upper surface; a second stretcher 20 which is formed of the columnar body having the substantially flat upper surface and a height being the same as that of the first stretcher 10 and including a side surface to be brought into surface contact with a part of the side surface of the first stretcher 10; and a fastening means for keeping a state where the side surfaces of the first and second stretchers 10, 20, to be mutually brought into surface contact are made to contact each other.
