This method comprises the stages consisting in: - mounting, on a last 5, an upper 1 stitched on insole 2 and bordered (edged) by a welt strip 3; - placing the last 5, equipped with its upper 1 and with its insole 2, above the central part 6 of a mould delimiting, with shells 7 thereof, a cavity corresponding to the impression of the sole 4 to be produced; - maintaining this last 5, equipped with its upper 1, at a distance from the upper face 6b of the central part 6 of the mould corresponding to the thickness of the sole 4; - closing the shells 7 of the mould on either side of the central part of the latter; - injecting the sole 4. It makes it possible to obtain a shoe with a visible welt binding (edge) for a minimum cost. <IMAGE>
