<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser printer device in which wirings for connecting a sensor for detecting the existence of a cartridge to a substrate part is laid inexpensively so as not to be affected by heat. <P>SOLUTION: A motor 6 for conveying paper is disposed inside a frame body 12, and a motor cover 7 provided with a detection part for detecting the existence of a cartridge at its lower part is attached to a base member 11. A signal captured by the detection part is transmitted to the substrate part 10 disposed outside the frame body 12 through the wiring 9. A 1st louvered part 11a for locking the motor cover 7 is formed on the base member 11, and further a 2nd louvered part 11b is formed at a predetermined position.
