<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an endless belt which enables the effective reduction of surface defects, an endless belt and an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: This is a method for manufacturing an endless belt by installing a belt-like member on the outer periphery of a cylindrical substrate. The manufacturing method of the endless belt is comprised of in sequence a coating film forming process installing the belt-like member on the periphery of the cylindrical substrate as the relationship between the inner peripheral length of the belt-like member (A) and the outer peripheral length of the cylindrical substrate (B) being 100 μm≤A-B≤1,500 μm and forming a coating film by applying a coating liquid on the outer peripheral surface of the belt-like member, a primary heating process primary heating under the condition of installing the belt-like member on the periphery of the cylindrical substrate, and a secondary heating process secondary heating under the condition of uninstalling the belt-like member from the cylindrical substrate. The endless belt is manufactured by the above method for manufacturing the endless belt.
