<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beverage preparing method for a beverage vending machine for sanitarily preparing Espresso type beverage. <P>SOLUTION: A predetermined amount of Powder 31 for milky foam is put in a cup CP, and a predetermined amount of hot water is injected from an injection nozzle 13 to the cup CP, and the dissolution and foaming of the powder 31 for milky foam are carried out so that milky foam 34 can be generated, and a predetermined amount of Espresso coffee 35 dripped by a coffee dripper 7 is injected from a coffee feeding pipe 16 to the cup CP so that Espresso type beverage can be prepared.
