<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a cable drum continuously orbits (goes out of control) when a detector for deceleration and that for stopping become abnormal in a paying out cable vehicle, and to quickly identify the abnormal detector when a fault occurs in the detector deceleration and that for stopping. <P>SOLUTION: The paying out cable vehicle comprises detector counters 78A-78D for counting the number of counts in the detectors 8A-8D for deceleration; and detector counters 79A-79D for stopping for counting the number of counts in the detectors 9A-9D for stopping. In the paying out cable vehicle, a drum orbiting device 2 is stopped by a signal from an identification means 71 for determining that the difference between the cumulative number of counts in the detector counter for deceleration and that of counts in the detector counter for stopping becomes at least 2, thus automatically stopping the orbit of cable drums 3A-3F even if the detector for stopping is abnormal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
