PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy required performance of shock property etc. by improving the B1 frequency of a load beam. SOLUTION: A head suspension 1 is provided with an arm 5 rotated and driven around an axis, the load beam 3 which has the base side end 19 of a rigid body part 9 supported on the side of the arm 5 through a spring part 11 and which applies a load to the head part 8 of a distal end side 13 for writing and reading information and a flexure 7 fitted to the load beam 3 supporting the head part 8. The rigid body part 9 is provided with a main body part 23 and a spring connection part 25 to be connected with one end side 13 of the spring part 11 at the end of the main body 23, and provided with rail parts 33 erected in a thickness direction along both of the edges in the width direction of the main body part 23. On the one end side 13 of the spring 13, an extension part 36 extended from the spring connection part 25 to the main part 23 is provided and the extension part 36 is connected to the main part 23.
