PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and light-weight display device. SOLUTION: The display is provided with a semiconductor laser 12 (light-emitting element) and mirrors 15, 16 for scanning a laser beam 1 (light) emitted from the semiconductor laser 12, and includes a substrate 11, a stacked section including a first and second layers disposed in this order on the substrate 11 from the substrate 11 side, at least erected sections formed, by bending the first and second layers to the side of the second layer at the predetermined position, and a deforming means to deform the erected sections. The lattice constants are different in the first and second layers, and the first and second layers are bent at the predetermined positions by a force produced by the difference in the lattice constants in the layers including the first and second layers. The mirrors 15, 16 are formed on the erected sections, and the laser beam 1 is reflected by the mirrors to scan, by changing the erected sections with the deforming means.
