PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin cooling structure that is suitable for a subrack of an outdoor type radio communication base station. SOLUTION: A fan unit 6 for cooling is attached to the upper side of a subrack 2, and the fan unit 6 takes in a cooling air from a suction port 8 formed on the lower side of the subrack. The fan unit 6 is provided with a fan unit enclosure 12 wherein an exhaust port 13 is formed on rear and side surfaces and radial fans 7 that are arranged like a zigzag in front and rear lines separately within the fan unit enclosure 12. The radial fans 7 in the rear line discharge the cooling air from the exhaust port 13 on the rear surface, while the radial fans 7 in the front line discharge the cooling air from the exhasut port 13 on the side surface.
