PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a test method facilitating the arrangement and preparation of a test piece and also facilitating the observation of stress corrosion cracking. SOLUTION: A metallic thin sheet which is a measuring object is cut into two square sheets. One of the two is folded at its both ends to form a stop A. The other is curved to obtain a test piece B with a stress load given thereto, which is mounted on the stop.
