<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply an antireflection function to an optical element having a large area and/or a curved surface with good work efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: An upper mold 8, which is used as a stamp mold and supports a flat plate member 5 having a conical recessed shape 6, and a lower mold 10, which supports a resin sheet 9 processed as a large area flat plate member 7, are used and a cartridge heater for heating the flat plate member 5 is provided to the upper mold 8 while the resin sheet 9 is stamped by the flat plate member 5 as shown by Fig. 4(a).
