PURPOSE:To attain quick and easy retrieval of a faulty panel without requiring an external measuring device by providing a check pattern expecting output pattern to a faulty system in a transmitter provided with a spare system. CONSTITUTION:An input of an existing system having a fault at system fault is inputted from a selection circuit 3 to a spare system 2, and an output of the spare system 2 is outputted in place of an output of the existing system having a fault by using any of selection circuits 41, 42...4n. On the other hand, an output of a check pattern generating circuit 51 is inputted to the faulty system from any of selection circuit 81, 82...8n and the output of the faulty system is inputted to a collation circuit 7 by a selection circuit 6. A check pattern through the faulty system and an expected output pattern are collated by the collation circuit 7. Thus, the fault is retrieved by replacing sequentially the panel of the faulty system and repeating it until the result of collation shows a normal state.
