<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless device, along with a dual mode portable telephone, which dispenses with a duplexer which a conventional dual mode portable telephone comprises, for smaller and light weight portable telephone. <P>SOLUTION: A first common antenna 1 is shared by a transmission system of first wireless communication method and a reception system of second wireless communication method, among transmission system and reception system of first and second wireless communication methods. An SAW filter 2 is connected to the first common antenna 1 to allow signals in the band used with the transmission system of first wireless communication method and the reception system of second wireless communication method to pass. A first switch 3 selectively connects the SAW filter 2 to the circuit of the transmission of first wireless communication method or to the reception system of the second wireless communication method. Thus, the SAW filter 2 is shared by the transmission system of the first wireless communication method and the reception system of the second wireless communication method, to eliminate the need for a duplexer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
