PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide concrete blocks allowing the easy and safe use by preventing a leakage of harmful substances resulting from wastes, and to provide their manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The concrete block containing wastes is obtained by kneading the wastes, cement and water, it is wrapped with a waterproof sheet, and mortar or concrete is applied on the surface of the waterproof sheet. The manufacturing method of the concrete block comprises a solidification process, a coating process and a removing process. In the solidification process, concrete 7 containing wastes formed by kneading the wastes, cement and water is inserted in a bag 8 made of the waterproof sheet so as to be solidified. In the coating process, the bag containing the concrete block 9 containing wastes is placed on a fluid mortar or concrete 11 inside a form 10 while the mortar or the concrete 11 retains fluidity, and the concrete block 9 is pushed and buried in the mortar or concrete 11 by using a press from upside so as to apply coating of the mortar 11. In the removing process, the mortar 11 is solidified and thereafter the form 10 is removed so as to obtain the concrete block 12 coated with the mortar 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
