<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ID card issuing system which can attempt to reduce the burden on the person himself the confirmation work executed at the time, when the ID card reissues, and to improve the certainty of the work. <P>SOLUTION: The ID card issuing system is provided with a registration means which registers personal information including living body characteristic data, an issuing means which issues ID cards based on the personal information, an acquisition means which acquires the living body characteristic data, a collation means which collates the acquired living body characteristic data with the living body characteristic data contained in the registered personal information, a requirement means which requires personal confirmation to an operator, when person verification is impossible, based on the collation result, an input reception means which receives the person confirmation result inputted, and a re-issuing means which reissues the ID card of the specified person, based on personal information or the person confirmed as the condition where the person is specified, based on the collation result or that input of person confirmation is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
