PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen printing machine which facilitates snap-off of a screen plate and can reduce the variation of a snap-off speed of the plate and thereby enables precise printing of a desired pattern. SOLUTION: The screen printing machine 10 comprises a printing table 12 whereon a printing object 4 is placed, the screen plate 16 disposed above the printing table 12, spaced from the printing object, and a squeegee 22 moving on the screen plate 16. The screen plate 16 is held by a one-side holding member 24 provided above one side of the printing table 12 so that it is movable in the vertical direction and by an opposite-side holding member 27 provided above the opposite-side of the printing table 12. With the movement of the squeegee 22 on the screen plate 16 from one side to the opposite side, the one-side holding member 24 moves upward. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
