PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathing aid apparatus whose seat surface is movable between a seat surface elevating/lowering position and a seat surface transfer position and which prevents excessive force applied to wing plates without allowing a sitting person to put hands on wing plates at the seat surface transfer position and closes a gap between the seat surface and a bathtub side wall at an upper limit position in elevating/lowering the seat surface and while elevating/lowering the seat surface. SOLUTION: The bathing aid apparatus is provided with a seat surface part 600 attached on a seat surface base so as to be rotated and slid to the seat surface base 500 between the seat surface elevating/lowering upper limit position and the seat surface transfer position. The wing plates 620 and 630 which can be inverted to the seat surface part and have such a projection amount that an end part projects outward of the bathtub from a bathtub inner wall surface at the seat surface elevating/lowering upper limit position in the state of installing the bathing aid apparatus to the bathtub are provided on both sides of the seat surface part. A wing plate push-up part 501 which makes contact with the back surfaces of the wing plates to push up the wing plates at a prescribed position from the seat surface transfer position to the upper limit position in elevating/lowering the seat surface is provided on the seat surface base.
