COMPOSITION FOR IN-MOLD COATING AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING IN-MOLD COATED MOLDED PRODUCT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-mold coating composition having excellent orientational properties of a scaly pigment without causing a weld line in a coated film having the so-called metallic feeling and using the scaly pigment and to provide a method for producing an in-mold coated molded product using the coating composition. SOLUTION: The in-mold coating composition is obtained by compounding (A) an oligomer or an unsaturated polyester resin having at least two (meth)acrylate groups, (B) an ethylenically unsaturated monomer copolymerizable with the component (A), (C) a cellulosic resin, (D) the scaly pigment having 1-200μm average particle diameter and 1-100 aspect ratio and (E) a polymerization initiator. The ratio (A)/(B) is (80/20) to (20/80) (pts.mass). The amounts of the components are 1-20 pts.mass of the component (C), 0.1-20 pts.mass of the component (D) and 0.1-10 pts.mass of the component (E) based on 100 pts.mass of the (A) and (B).
