PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack wherein the performance of secondary batteries does not deteriorate even if temporary deterioration of a cooling condition occurs. SOLUTION: Paraffin 16 is filled into the gap between secondary batteries 13 inside a battery case 12 containing a plurality of secondary batteries and between the inner wall of the battery case 12 and the secondary batteries 13. As a result, the latent heat absorption when the paraffin 16 melts can prevent the batteries from being heating above the temperature where the secondary batteries 13 deteriorate. Thus, even if the temporary deterioration of the cooling condition occurs, the performance of the secondary batteries 13 does not deteriorate. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
