PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery storing chamber capable of storing plural kinds of batteries while aiming at down-sizing up to minimum necessary size, capable of avoiding abnormal contact raised when the battery is erroneously inserted or unexpected battery is inserted only by a structural consideration, and to provide an electronic apparatus equipped with the same. SOLUTION: A pair of minus contact piece 4a and a plus contact piece 4b of a first battery contact piece 4 are arranged on a back wall face in the battery storing chamber 2, a second battery contact piece 5 is arranged on a back side wall face, and a third battery contact piece is arranged on an inside wall face of a battery lid 3so as to face the first battery contact piece 4. When two pieces of AA size batteries are loaded in upper and lower stage of the battery storing chamber respectively, a negative electrode of the battery at lower stage is connected to the minus contact piece, positive electrode is connected to the plus contact piece of the third battery contact piece, the negative electrode of the battery at upper stage is connected to the minus contact piece of the third battery contact piece, and the positive electrode is connected to the plus contact piece 4b, and current is conducted.
