PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a burden of an actuator when driving a control valve, in an injector for switching a degree of pressure of a needle back pressure chamber for generating back pressure of a nozzle needle by operation of the control valve. SOLUTION: A valve back pressure chamber 55 is arranged for generating back pressure of the control valve 33, and hydraulic passages 61, 64, 332, 331, 55, 66, 56 and 62 passing through the valve back pressure chamber 55 are arranged, and the control valve 33 is controlled by hydraulic driving for switching the hydraulic passages 61 to 62 to a state of communicating with a low pressure source and a cut-off state by another control valve 35. The another control valve 35 is driven by operation by the actuator 121. The burden of the actuator is reduced by providing driving force for opening and closing the control valve 33 by hydraulic pressure. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
