PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning fluid for use in pigment dispersion-type colored resin compositions which is excellent in the dissolving property and removal performance for a pigment dispersion-type colored resin composition and a solidified matter thereof and which causes no aggregates even when contacting with the pigment dispersion-type colored resin composition. SOLUTION: The cleaning fluid for use in pigment dispersion-type colored resin compositions contains (a) a ketonic solvent, preferably cyclohexanone and/or acetyl acetone, (b) an ester solvent composed of a monobasic carboxylic acid and a monohydric alcohol, preferably n-butyl acetate and/or isobutyl acetate at a weight ratio of (a)/(b) of preferably from 1/9 to 9/1, and has a water holding rate of preferably 0.5% by weight or less.
