<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an orthodontic treatment support system capable of generating accurately a desired estimated dentition image after orthodontic treatment and also capable of aligning a dentition image before orthodontic treatment and the desired estimated dentition image after orthodontic treatment with respect to each other easily and accurately, and also to provide an indicator member and an arrangement apparatus used in the system. <P>SOLUTION: The orthodontic treatment support system 1 comprises the indicator members 4 and 5 for indicating reference positions of a dentition model before orthodontic treatment 2 and an estimated dentition model after orthodontic treatment 3 respectively, the arrangement apparatus 6 for arranging the indicator members 4 and 5, an image data generating means 11 for generating image data 9 and 10 by photographing the dentition model before orthodontic treatment 2 and the estimated dentition model after orthodontic treatment 3, an image display means 14 for displaying a dentition image before orthodontic treatment 12 and an estimated dentition image after orthodontic treatment 13 on the basis of the image data 9 and 10, a position adjusting means 15 for adjusting display positions of the dentition image before orthodontic treatment 12 and the estimated dentition image after orthodontic treatment 13 with respect to each other, and a tooth position adjusting means 18 for adjusting display position of a tooth image 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
