PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage box with large capacity without reducing the space of vehicle interior. SOLUTION: A lower portion of the storage box 15 disposed at a lower portion of a seat support section 20 for supporting a seat cushion 13a on an upper surface is supported on a spindle 25 provided at a leg section 21 which connects the seat support section 20 with a floor 11 so as to be oscillated in a longitudinal direction, an upper portion of the storage box 15 at a closed position so as to be oscillated rearward is locked on the seat support section 20 with a lock mechanism 35. Therefore, it is possible not only to efficiently use a space at the lower portion of the rear seat 13 and dispose the storage box 15 with large capacity without reducing an area in the passenger room, but also to facilitate to take out/in objects by swinging and opening the storage box 15 to a front leg space side. Besides, a clip 29 provided at the storage box 15 is detachably engaged with the spindle 25, thus facilitating to remove the storage box 15 for cleaning and maintenance. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
